The ASP.NET/IIS Certificate enables an IIS Server Application and a Desktop Host Application Certificate.
Sophisticated web-based applications are now being built and delivered via the Internet. A web-based application offers numerous advantages over a desktop application as well as fewer end-user installation issues and delivery of instantaneous updates to all application users.
Now a developer can easily include WinWrap Basic scripting in their IIS ASP.NET application allowing a veteran member of the development team to develop and maintain a core web application while application script writers use the extension API. Script writers extend the functionality of the web application by writing specific scripts using the core web application as a specialized tool for their purposes.
Script editing functionality via a desktop application implemented by developers provides a simulated application environment for script development. The script editing application can also provide a console window for error messages from the web-application. Developer implemented access and security controls access to the desktop application used for script editing and web application monitoring.
An ASP.NET/IIS+Application certificate allows a host website to run WinWrap® Basic scripts using WinWrap® Basic For ASP.NET. The website's host name must match the certificate's host name.
An Application Certificate allows a desktop application to edit the macros used by the IIS application. Receive errors in real-time from the IIS host application. Locate errors in script code with descriptive error information with line numbers. Update scripts from editor and retry IIS application from browser without use of any other development tools. Script Editor autocompletion for object properties and object methods. Autocompletion for event targets. Built-in documentation.
IIS 7 and IIS 8 are supported. Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 are supported. ASP.NET 4.0 and ASP.NET 4.5 are supported. Windows Server 2012 installs .NET Framework 4.5 by default. Windows Server 2008 R2 installs .NET Framework 4.0 by default. 64 bit Windows and 32 bit Windows are supported. Up to 8 terabytes memory available for 64-bit processes running on 64-bit windows. Native 64-bit support and can load 64-bit DLLs.
The WWB.NET Scripting Language Option enables WinWrap® Basic script writers to use VB.NET style syntax in their scripts. WWB.NET Scripting Language scripts can access and call thousands of Microsoft .NET Framework and 3rd party .NET code assembly reusable classes. Access .NET 4.5 assemblies from WinWrap® Basic's WWB.NET scripting language.
The existing client/server connection can transport all the script debugging commands and execution status. The WinWrap® Basic Scripting Control gives you the tools you need to debug powerful custom scripts on server applications.
